Duration: 8 months
Location: Kabul
Donor: UN Women
Budget: 15,000 USD
Omid Taghir Social Services Organization (OTSSO) focused on capacity building for our staff over
an eight-month period from January 2024 to August 2024, with the support of UN Women. This
initiative aimed to empower our team to make a meaningful impact in the lives of women in our
community.
We Organized engaging training workshops on a project management, gender sensitivity, and
financial management, equipping our staff with practical tools and knowledge. Mentorship
programs paired experienced team members with newcomers, fostering collaboration and
growth. Field visits to successful projects inspired our team with innovative ideas and best
practices.
As a result, our staff emerged more confident and skilled, ready to advance our mission of
empowering women and promoting economic independence. This foundational work, made
possible by UN Women, has set us on an exciting path forward.
