Recognizing the urgent need for basic health knowledge and passion of community members, on
February 2023, OTSSO organized a community-based training on first aid kits. Thirty girls who had
been excluded from formal education due to current restrictions were trained in essential first
aid practices. This initiative provided them with life saving skills, instilled confidence, and created
an opportunity for learning and growth despite barriers to formal education.
